Types
Both circular and square manholes are supplied for a wide range of applications. Circular manholes are available in inner diameters ø400mm, ø500mm, ø600mm, ø800mm, ø1000mm, ø1200mm, ø1500mm.
Square manholes are available in two sizes 1200mm×1200mm and 1500mm×1500mm internally. Square maintenance holes are used when the size of the pipeline is too large for regular circular manholes.
A typical manhole system comprise of three main sections: base, risers, and a reducing cone or a flat top. In some cases the manhole configuration is governed by site conditions or existing line setup.

All manholes produced by PCP meet the local Palestinian Standards (PS 242-1-2008) and (PS 242-2-2008). Product parameters such as wall thicknesses, steel reinforcement, and concrete mix design can be tailored to meet the technical requirements of any project.

Manhol Joints
Manhole joints are necessary to hold all manhole sections in place and prevent them from shifting during or after installation. Depending on the type of project and the purpose of use manhole joints can either be designed to be soil tight or watertight.
Few options are available for joint handling in which one of the following should be used
- Cement Mortar, which is the most widely applied practice in the market
- Mastic
- Butyl Sealant
- Rubber Gasket
Both simple tongue-and-groove and single off-set manhole joint designs are available at PCP providing compatibility with all of the sealing options listed above.
